A FINAL SALUTE
What was that thing about things going wrong? Oh, yeah, I remember now... Just when I was gearing up to help the Edge of L.A. Con with some cool imagery, they pull the plug on the event.

Oh, well. I made some new friends and acquaintances, and was able to do a little networking. I offer a final salute to everyone who participated, and especially to Chris Peterson who managed the show while it lasted.

On the flip side, I just met a really cool writer through another acquaintance whom I met through... well, it gets long. Be that as it may, he's a very nice guy, a great talent, and someone with whom I hope to collaborate. Like they say, one door slams on your foot, and another opens and hopefully doesn't bang you on the head in the process. We'll see what the future holds. I'll keep you posted...
